The Growth
Factor

Latino's fingerprints are intertwined within society via food, media, entertainment, economics, and of course politically.

WE are a huge economic engine in this country: Total gross domestic product (GDP), of Latinos in the U.S. reached $3.7 trillion in 2022, exceeding the historic $3.2 trillion mark set in 2021. The latest figure would make the U.S. Latino GDP the fifth largest GDP in the world for 2022 — greater than India, the United Kingdom and France.

As of July 1, 2023, the Hispanic population in the United States was 65.2 million, which is 19.5% of the total population. It is the largest minority group in the United States.

Latinos have been the largest contributor to the growth of the U.S. population, accounting for 54% of the growth between 2000 and 2021

 Latino development

Searching for an inspiring speaker on the topic of Latino growth, development, and empowerment? My workshop and discussions are centered around culture & family dynamics that often shape Latinos as well as my most challenging professional experiences stemmed in 2019-2020. This entails not getting selected for promotions, making it to the finale round for numerous interviews for leadership roles that I was qualified for but receiving zero offer letters to getting laid off during the pandemic.

These experiences led me to do an internal examination on how I showed up. This meant learning and taking painstaking notes on how I project myself, communicate, lead, and carry myself in the workplace.

By allowing myself to bring humility into this space, I became intentional on identifying and improving my weaknesses which gave me a clear vision for my path to success... I created a playbook. These guidelines have had tremendous impact on my professional growth - unlocking my potential. My unfortunate experiences shaped my future. It awakened the fierce leader inside of me that I knew I was but had not yet discovered.
I am now armed with purpose, confidence, and a stronger voice.

I look forward to the opportunity to share these tools and insight to further create the Latino leadership pipeline!

Two thoughts that are too good to gatekeep and must be shared...

  1. Consistency over Perfection

  2. Confidence is quiet. Insecurity is loud

Final thought: Personally, I believe we all have our own journey to personal and professional growth. My hardest lesson that I had to learn - speaking up and having my voice felt and heard! Actor, John Leguizamo explains it best as he says, "And for years, I didn’t complain about the limited roles my people were offered: the spicy sexpot, the Latin lover, the maid, the gangbanger. Turns out, not complaining doesn’t change anything."
