I had the honor to be a part of an amazing panel that was put together by Fuel Milwaukee. In this session we discussed how to attract and retain diverse talent. We also touched on the obstacles and challenges that people of color face in the workplace. We offer tips and our insight on how to achieve success. Thank you again to Fuel Milwaukee for having me.
In this session, I led a discussion on diversity & inclusion for the PCMA Greater Midwest Chapter. During the webinar, I talked on the need for and importance of diversity, the challenges like systemic racism and lack of presentations, and offered tips. It was a honest, real, but also respectful conversation. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to present my thoughts and ideas. Those near to me understand I am obsessed with the need for diversity, equity, and helping others understand and connect these dots.
